The Birdville Golden Motion Dance Team was created in 1999 with the opening of Birdville High School under the direction of Mrs. Mindy Anstey.  Golden Motion has been under the direction of Mrs. Allie Hudak since 2008.  The Birdville Dance Department expanded to add the JV Belles Dance Team in 2010, and they are currently under the direction of Ms. Emmie Grieve.  The NXT LVL Hip-Hop Crew was created in 2015. 

 

Golden Motion holds 11 National Titles from MA Dance from 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. They were also finalists in the 2016, 2017, and 2019 USASF Dance Worlds, and at the 2018 NDA High School Nationals. At the 2024 NDA High School Nationals, they placed 3rd overall in Large Varsity Pom and 6th overall in Large Varsity Jazz.

The Junior Varsity Belles received a National Title at the 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023 MA Dance Nationals.

The NXT LVL Hip-Hop Crew received a National Title at the 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 MA Dance Nationals.
